The Baltimore Fashion Alliance is hosting a Fashion History panel at the Baltimore Design School.
The purpose of the event is to educate others about local fashion history (Baltimore was once the second largest garment maker in the country!).
Christopher Schafer will moderate the panel, which will include local fashion experts, Sally Dimarco (Stevenson University’s Fashion Design Program), Hillary H. Figinski (I.C. Isaacs), Harry Lebow (Lebow Brothers Clothing), Ray Mitchener (Ruth Shaw), and Travis Winkey (Travis Winkey Studios).
The panel will be held on Nov. 6, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Baltimore Design School (1500 Barclay St.), and all proceeds (a $10 donation at the door) will benefit the school.
