We're so there.

Below is the first trailer for Amy Berg's Every Secret Thing, based on Laura Lippman's suspense novel of the same name. Obviously, it's too early to judge but these are a few of our initial thoughts based on the trailer:
1. They made a movie out of a Laura Lippman novel! < Happy dance! >
2. It stars all these badass women: Diane Lane, Elizabeth Banks, Dakota Fanning. . .
3. It also stars Nate Parker, that hot guy from Beyond the Lights.
4. The screenplay is written by Nicole Holefcener, who gave us Enough Said and Walking and Talking and is basically magical.
5. It looks unsettling as hell, kind of True Detective meets Paradise Lost: The Child Murders at Robin Hood Hills meets Gone Girl.
6. Have we mentioned that we are so there?
Every Secret Thing opens in select markets on May 15th. Here's hoping Baltimore is one of those markets. We'll keep you posted.
