Harbor East’s South Moon Under 10-Year Anniversary
Harbor East favorite South Moon Under opened its doors for the first time on September 1, 2005, proving that time sure does fly when you’re having fun (and/or shopping). To celebrate its 10th year of serving up the trendiest styles for both the men and women of Baltimore, the store will be hosting an anniversary event on Thursday, September 10 from 6-9 p.m. All purchases will be 20-percent off and the event with also feature a Haute Blow Dry braid bar, gift bags for the first 25 guests, giveaways, refreshments, and a live DJ. Here's to 10 more years! 815 Aliceanna St., 410-685-7820.
Empowered by Gundalow Fitness
Sweat for a good cause on September 20, as Gundalow Juice partners with Ryleigh's Oyster and many local fitness studios to create a different kind of Sunday Funday. One ticket buys you a choice of fitness class, Gundalow juice samples, and an Under Armour T-shirt or tank top. Pick from the nine classes offered which include everything from spin to barre to yoga, with a portion of the proceeds going to Kennedy Krieger Institute’s yoga-based psychotherapy group. Celebrate your hard work with an after-party at Ryleigh’s (Federal Hill or Hunt Valley locations) for a refreshing Gundalow cocktail and lite fare before the Raven’s vs. Raiders game. Tickets are available for $35.
Wee Chic x Ivivva
Girl power and fashion are great on their own, but together they
make an empowering combination that just can’t be beat. That’s something Wee
Chic Boutique, ivivva active wear (created by lululemon athletica) and cool
progeny recognized and decided to do something about it. The companies are
teaming up to create the "Many Sides of Me" campaign, a movement that celebrates
all facets of tween girls’ personalities and interests to create brave,
courageous, and confident young women. Grab your tickets for the in-store event on Friday September 25, at Wee Chic in Green Spring Station.
Or, stop by the boutique on Saturday, September 26 to see pieces from the fall
clothing collection, take part in yoga sessions, and create Mala bracelets. 2360
West Joppa Rd. #115, Lutherville, 410-878-7400
