2011 Annual Report

Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital (MWPH)

Since 2008, our division has produced several annual reports for MWPH, but the 90th anniversary report is our favorite. Being entrusted with MWPH’s valuable scrapbook and photo archive dating from 1921 was an honor and downright fascinating. We were responsible for archival photo review, scanning, retouching, design, print production, stock photo search, and for directing photoshoots. A balance of old and new photos showcased the hospital’s long history. The square format provided visual impact and the timeline footer neatly chronicled the growth of the hospital from Happy Hills Convalescent Home for Children to Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital, which is now operated jointly by the University of Maryland Medical System and Johns Hopkins Medicine.
