Sagesse Inc. has been a client since we helped design a campaign focused on attracting Washington, D.C. workers to Baltimore. Housing and community are frequent themes of the work we do for the company. An example is the branding campaign we designed for Monarch Mills, an apartment community in Howard County. While Monarch Mills provides luxurious, modern, and convenient living, a key feature is its sustainability and “green” amenities. So naturally (pun intended), a monarch butterfly alighting on a blade of grass seemed like an appropriate logo for this community. This graphic formed the basis of a much wider campaign for which we designed everything from collateral and sell sheets to banners, signage, and floor stickers in a shopping mall.
