Just last week, we learned that soul sensation Stevie Wonder was making his way to Baltimore this spring for a show of epic proportions, and now, with the announcement of Billy Joel's summertime stop at M&T Bank Stadium, it looks like our little city might finally being making it onto that big act, music scene map after all.
On July 25, the Piano Man himself is leaving his New York state of mind and making his way to Baltimore for his first-ever Charm City concert. That's right: ever. The six-time Grammy winner, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame singer-songwriter, and sixth best-selling performing of all-time will perform from his bounty of greatest hits, like "Only the Good Die Young," "Uptown Girl," "Big Shot," "It's Still Rock and Roll to Me," and, of course, "Piano Man." We can only hope he plays "We Didn't Start the Fire" and "Vienna." The Ravens stadium will also be hosting teen heartthrobs, One Direction, in August.
Presale starts February 2 for American Express cardholders. General sale starts February 6 via livenation.com.
